GUI Esports and Frederick County Parks & Rec have teamed up to bring you Esports Summer Camp. Don’t miss this exciting camp that will introduce you to Esports. Each day we will work on a different basic skill of gaming. This is a great program for first time gamers or anyone that is interested in learning about Esports. Esports (also known as Electronic Sports) is a form of a sport competition using video games. Universities has developed programs and scholarships for Esports. High Schools have also joined the popularity by adding it as a Varsity Sport.
Choose from 6 different sessions including a girls only camp “Girls & Gaming”. Sessions are weekly and start the week of June 13th. All campers will receive a tee-shirt, certificate of completion, and a membership to GUI Esports Gaming Center.
- Campers will be allowed to choose from a variety of games to play
- Social interaction with other campers that have the same interest
